Grasshoppers

Two weeks ago we were learning to wright a information report the structure tittle, general statement, description, and Evaluation and what to wright. So last week we wrote a information report about any insect so i chose a Grasshopper.

Grasshoppers

Runnnnnnnn! Grasshoppers are part of the  insect family. Grasshoppers are a living creature.

Grasshoppers start off about five cm long  but a fully grown grass hopper is 7 cm.They have two long thin wings followed by two giant hind legs for jumping. Grasshoppers are green and they have two claws as arms and two powerful antenna. They have three body parts called the head, thorax, and abdomen.

Grasshoppers normally feed  on cotton, clover, oats, wheat, corn, rye and barley, but some Grasshoppers tend to feast on grasses, weeds, leaves, bark, flowers and seeds. Sometimes not regularly they may find a toxic plant and it stays into their stomach until they spit it out.

Most grasshoppers like  to live in dry and open habitats with lots of fresh green grass and low plants to climb on .Some grasshoppers live in forests between bushes and plants. Not normally but some do live in cabbage and lettuce fields.

If predators are trying to attack a Grasshopper they can normally get away because they easily blend in with the grass and plant leaves . They can also jump very high and can fly very fast. They can also spit up their food called tobacco juice so it can be very dangerous if they eat a toxic plant.

I think  Grasshoppers are important because they kill bugs that eat garden crops.

My Audience Part two

We are learning to create a positive digital footprint.

We often share personal information when we are online. The people we share with could be our friends and family or people we don't know. We need to make smart decisions about what personal information we share online.
