Aim= What are Enzymes and what they do to the jelly
Ingredients & Materials= Small tray X2 ,Mashed and skinless kiwi fruit , jelly w/ boiling water.
Method= first we cut all the skin off of the kiwi fruit. Second we took the kiwi fruit and mashed it up. Next we spread the mashed kiwi fruit on the tray evenly. After that we poured the jelly into one of the trays that does not have kiwi fruit in and poured jelly in the one that did have kiwi fruit in.
What is a enzyme?= A enzyme is a substance produced by a living organism Which acts as a catalyst to bring out specific biochemical reaction . in other words Enzymes can build or brake down other molecules. The molecules they act on are called substrates. Enzymes are catalysts - Chemicals that hasten a chemical reaction without undergoing any change themselves. Most enzymes are huge protein molecules.
