Division Problems

Today we were doing maths and the teacher set up some division word problems. We had to answer them like we did at the teaching station.At the bottom we had to make our own word problems and got  a friend to answer the problem. this is the work sheet that I had.

80/10=8

Phyllis wants to split a collection of eggs into groups of 9. Phyllis has 72 eggs. How many groups will be created?
72/9=8

Walter has 200 oranges stored in boxes. If the are 50 boxes, how many oranges must go in each box?
200/50=4
50x4=200
200/4=50
4x50=200
There are 27 bananas in Samuel's banana collection. If the bananas are organized into 9 groups, how big is each group?
27/9=3
9x3=27
27/3=9
3x9=27
There are 50 students in the class and 350 candies. If the candies are divided equally among the students, how many does each student get?
350/50=7
50x7=350

Miss McLeod wants to share all of the sports gear equally between the the classes. There are 12 classes and 72 sport equipment pieces. How many pieces of equipment will each class get?
72/12=6
12x6=72

Alan has 69 stickers. If he shares them among 7 friends, how many stickers does each friend get?
69/7=7
7x7=69
69/7=7
7x7=69

Now make 3 problems of your own and get a friend to solve them.

If emily had a party and she had 48 balloons
And she invited 8 friends how many balloons would each friend get?
48/8=6
8x6=48
48/6=8

If i had 1 pizza that  was cut up into 8ths and i had to share it between 3 people how many slices would each person get?
8/1=8
1x8=8
8/8=1
8x1=8
If erika had 72 books and she had to sort out  all of the books into three piles how many books is there in each pile.
72/3=24
3x24=72
72/24=3
24x3=72
