Have you studied music before?
I have taken music as a subject as soon as it became available to me last year for the first semester then I choose it as a subject again as one of my options for the first semester this year.
What type of music do you enjoy listening to and why?
I don't have a specific type of music that I listen to but I prefer musicians and bands that emphasize instruments and the bass and song which feature instrumentals or an instrument solo rather than the main focus on vocals.
Name 3 bands/singers you enjoy listening to and why?
The main band i can think of currently is muse as they are masters of their instruments and are very creative when putting together songs and bringing elements and sections of the song together. Their songs are always unique and fun to listen to.
What would you like to learn in music this term?
I would like to learn more about deciphering pieces of music and what makes a good piece of music that is enjoyable to listen to and unique to us and the meaning behind it, then how we can create music ourselves.

Kia ora Lucy! So glad you are back for this semester! I also love Muse, you are right, they are amazing musicians and are amazing live! Matt Bellamy is probably one of the greatest musicians from the last decade! We are definitely going to listen to more music and open our musical listening knowledge and we will definitely be listening to some Muse! :)
