Decomposing & Recycling

Aim - The aim is to learn about the rate that different materials decompose.

Hypothesis -  I think that the bread will be the first to rot out of bananas, white styrophone, paper, and bread (with water)

Materials:

  1.   Test Tubes x4
  2.   Test tube stand
  3.   Corks x4
  4.   Banana
  5.   Brown Paper
  6.   Bread
  7.   Styrophone
Steps:
  1.   Gather the equipment
  2.   Shove the banana, Styrophone, paper, and bread into separate test tubes.
  3. Put the corks onto the test tubes.
  4.   Write the names of your teammates down so you know which one is yours.
  5.   Place them down somewhere & check in to record the results.
