Aim-  To learn about how solar energy is used.

Hypothesis- I think that the colour black with attract the most sunlight and heat.

Materials-

1. Heat Lamp ( 1 per group )
2. Polystyrene cup x2 
3. Plastic cup 
4. Sheet of black rubbish bag 
5. A4 paper 
6. Sheet of tin foil x2 
7. Tupe of black rubbish bag 
8. Water 
9. Thenomiter 

Steps

1. Gather your required items
2. Cover the plastic cup in the black rubbish bag tube 
3. Cover one of the polystyrene cups in tin foil 
4. Lay the sheet of black rubbish bag down and put plastic cup on top 
5. Lay the sheet of tin foil down place tin foiled cup on top 
6. Place the last cup on top of the sheet of paper 
7. Line up the heat lamp on front of the cups so the light is evenly spread.
8. Check the temperature every 15 minutes 
9. Record your results and find out which cup at tracks the most heat.
