Activity 1
For this activity I have to scope out some fun facts about nz and then chose my top three and share them on my blog.
Number 1
New Zealand is actually part of the pacific Rim of Fire (is a long curvy line of loads of volcanoes surrounding a piece of ocean ) and in the pacific Rim of Fire its most active volcano is located in the middle of the north island Mount Ruapehu.
Number 2 Auckland's city sky tower is the tallest free standing building in the southern hemisphere at 328 meters high.
Number 3
30% of New Zealand is covered in forest.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hey Lucy!
ReplyDeleteYou've chosen some really interesting facts. I like how you've accompanied each piece of information with a photo. It's important that we give credit to the owner of the images we use on our blog though. Here's a link to help you properly attribute any images you use in the future:

One of my favourite facts about New Zealand is that we have the steepest street in the world. Do you know what it's called? I'll give you a hint - it's in Dunedin.
Keep up the great blogging Lucy.
Mikey :)
