Activity 1
For this activity we have to imagine that we are interviewing Sir Edmund Hillary. We then have to write five questions that we would ask him.
1.Why did you want to start climbing mountains?
2. What was the first mountain that you climbed?
3.When did you start to climb mountains?
4.How old were you when you first wanted to be a mountain climber?
5.How did you feel when you reached the top of Mt Everest?

I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Morning Lucy!
ReplyDeleteYou've come up with some really thoughtful questions. I'd be particularly interested in hearing the answer to number 5. I quite like to climb mountains in my free time too. Although, I've never conquered anything quite as impressive as Mount Everest! There are lots of smaller mountains around Auckland that I like to climb though. What about you? Are there any mountains around Christchurch?
All the best,
Mikey
