Activity 3
For this activity we have to imagine that New Zealand is going to sink underwater Next week and we have to write about what it was like living in New Zealand 2018.
What it Is like living in New Zealand.
New Zealand is placed the third most beautiful country in the world. I am so lucky to live in new zealand it is only an half an hour drive to get to a beach and on that note new zealand has the most beautiful beaches ones with crystal clear water and pale yellow sand. Here in New Zealand on of the most beautiful thing is the Native bush Its lush green and filled with ferns and hanging vines and Native Trees. New Zealand has lots of cities but the main ones are Auckland which has lots of beautiful volcanoes and beaches. Wellington which is the capital of New Zealand and it has one biggest museum in New Zealand called Te Papa where it has a lot of amazing things like the colossal squid. Christchurch is a cool place with amazing people and loads of fun activities to do there.
Along with everything else there are some amazing natural structures that are very pretty one of them being the Limestone Arches. these arches have a big red river running through these big long limestone arches. Altogether New Zealand is such a cool and Beautiful place to live.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Ata mārie Lucy,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and have been enjoying the summer sunshine :)
I really enjoyed reading your description of New Zealand. You've used wonderful vocabulary, which really helps your reader picture what you're talking about. I like how you've talked about different cities as well as the natural environment. If I were a tourist trying to decide if I wanted to visit New Zealand or not, I definitely would after reading your post. Are there any places in New Zealand that you haven't been that you'd really like to visit?
Well done on completing another activity. Keep up the great blogging.
Mikey :)
Hi Lucy!
ReplyDeleteMe again :)
It's great to see that you've completed the first week of the Summer Learning Journey programme. I can tell that you've put a lot of effort into each of the activities, which is wonderful! I just wanted to let you know that there's still two weeks left of the programme - plenty of time to jump online and complete a few more activities, and earn some more points! :)
I hope you're having a lovely holiday Lucy. I look forward to reading your blog again soon.
Happy blogging!
Mikey :)
