Where are the rivers located=In the bay of plenty, North Island. It runs through the North Island
What is being done to clean up the rivers= Nothing.Stopping farmers from polluting the water.

ReplyDeleteWell done on taking the time to do some research on New Zealand's polluted rivers. Isn't it sad that so many of them are too polluted to swim in? I can't believe how high the number is! It's great to hear that something is being done to combat the problem in the Ruamahanga River though. Were you able to find out exactly what they are doing? What measures are being put in place to stop waste from farms flowing into the river? I'd love to know more about it.
