For this activity we have to watch a video then say if we would want to try flax weaving and why. Does it interest you and why.
I think that it would be so cool to try and the things that you can make out of the flax is amazing.
Although it looks like a lot of fun it also looks really hard and complicated and it makes you imagine how hard and complicated it must be to make all the bags and coats that they create. Though it would be hard i would still want to give it a go.

ReplyDeleteI like how the difficulty of flax weaving hasn't put you off wanting to give it a go. I often find that the more challenging something is, the more rewarding it becomes when you work out how to do it. :)
I remember doing flax weaving when I was in primary school. We made flowers and small kete (baskets). What would you make?
