For this activity we have to we have to say what we think about the overfishing rule and how people are fined $100,000 dollars if they are caught fishing in those areas.
I think they rule is Good because it will stop people catching to much fish in they favourite areas and not only that it will sot people fishing in the areas that are " OverFished" and gives they fish a small chance at repopulating.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you - $100,000 is a lot of money but it's a great deterrent. Just outside of Auckland (where I live) is a place called Goat Island Marine Reserve where people aren't allowed to fish or dive but they can snorkel and hire glass-bottom kayaks to see all of the beautiful sea creatures that have been able to thrive without the threat of fishermen. Are there any marine reserves where you live?
