Activity 1
For this activity we have to share three things that we learnt about air pollution from watching this Video.
1.Human air pollution is caused by things like factories, power plants, cars, airplanes, chemicals, fumes from spray cans, and methane gas from landfills.
2.One of the ways that humans cause air pollution is by burning fossil fuels. Fossil fuels include coal, oil, and natural gas.
3.Some air pollution can come from nature. Like from volcanic eruptions, dust storms, and Forest fires
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hi Lucy,
ReplyDeleteWell done on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, I look forward to seeing more soon.
It's such a shame the amount of air pollution going on and how many things that cause it to happen. Unfortunately, so many things that we use day to day cause air pollution however there are small steps we can do to combat it such as using public transport or biking rather than driving.
What are some things you think you could do to help combat air pollution?
Until next time, happy blogging. :)
