You've come up with some great alternative names for Devil's Bath. I particularly like 'Pea Soup' - if I hadn't seen a photo, I'd easily be able to picture it in my mind.
Are there any geothermal pools where you live? Up north (where I'm from), there's a place called Ngawha Springs which is famous for it's geothermal hot pools. They're more of a muddy brown colour, apposed to the green of Devil's Bath but they're lovely and relaxing. Especially when the temperature's a little bit cooler.
